det er mig der lyser is a Copenhagen-based electronic singersongwriter project by Hjørdis Siv Gerup. Through metallic vocals distorted by the screams of crows and starlit synthesizers reaching towards the furthest, darkest corners of the multiverse, this music deals with experiences of the world, the complicatedness of people and emotions, and the concept of boundaries, as well as psychosis, fear, a life-stealing eating disorder, joy, longing, and love. This all is expressed in an atmosphere of alternating tangible and metaphorical reflections through lyrical playfulness, ghastly vocals, and melodies so fast bebop couldn't keep up. Do enjoy!
